The second season brought a new time slot (Friday at 10 pm), an additional costar (Robert Wolders), mostly new writers, directors and producers and some episodes that can only be described as over the
top silly. The Rangers got new outfits that weren't improvements over the first season. We really missed the pink shirt Joe traded in for a silly fringed, buckskin number. And Chad didn't really need a bigger hat. The new Erik Hunter character apparently had a bottomless saddlebag of outfits and access to a dry cleaner. Although there were a few episodes that matched the best of the first season, there were many that fell short. Even so, a not so good Laredo was still a fun way to spend an hour.
